Insurance Terms

Below you will find the complete and updated structure regarding our insurance types, pricing, excess amounts per vehicle category, extra services, and general terms to be added to our website.

1. CDW – Collision Damage Waiver (Basic Insurance)

Description: Included in the basic rental rate. Covers collision damage with an excess amount (deductible / liability risk) which varies depending on the vehicle category.

Unlimited Mileage
Free 2nd Driver

Excess Amounts (Risk) per Category:

Group A: €350
Group B: €450
Group C: €600
Group D: €450
Group E: €1,200
Group F: €1,600
Group F1: €1,800

2. FDW – Full Damage Waiver (Full Insurance)

Description: Optional coverage that eliminates (or reduces to a minimum) the excess amount in case of an accident.

Includes Extra: Free 2nd Driver.

No Deposit & No Credit Card Required: With the selection of FDW, no credit card is required and no security deposit amount is blocked.

FDW Cost per Category:

Group A: €12 / day
Group B: €14 / day
Group C: €15 / day
Group D: €15 / day
Group E: €17 / day
Group F: €18 / day
Group F1: €20 / day

Note: FDW does not cover tires, rims, the underbody of the car, and glass/windshields.

3. WUG / WPI – Wheels, Underbody & Glass Protection

Description: Optional insurance covering damage to tires, rims, windshields/glass, and the underbody (floor) of the vehicle.
Cost: €5 / day.

4. Baby Seats / Boosters

Cost: €1 / day.

5. Exclusions & General Terms (What is NOT covered by any insurance)

Even with the purchase of Full Damage Waiver (FDW), the coverage is nullified and the driver bears full financial responsibility in the following cases:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol, medication, or illicit drugs.
• Serious traffic violations (e.g., running a STOP sign or red traffic light, crossing double dividing lines, illegal U-turns, speeding, etc.).
• Driving on unpaved roads (off-road / dirt roads).
• Loss, theft, or damage of the vehicle keys.
• Damages, stains, or excessive dirt in the interior of the car (seats, upholstery, dashboard, etc.).
• Engine damage caused by misfueling (e.g., putting petrol instead of diesel).
• Failure to notify the company and the police immediately in case of an accident (an official accident report/police report is mandatory).
